Mud horizontal spiral discharge sedimentary centrifuge also be called as mud decanter centrifuge,a type of centrifuge. Mud centrifuge is a kind of solids control equipment which can separate the smallest particles in the oil and gas drilling fluids.Mud centrifuge can complete the feeding,centrifuging,sedimentary,discharging and other many processes under high speed operation.The centrifuge is mainly used for collecting barite,remove the fine small particles in mud,decreasing the solids content of mud,and then can reach controlling the mud density and viscosity.

The feed enters the bowl through a stationary inlet tube and is accelerated smoothly by an inlet rotor. The resulting drilling mud decanter centrifuge forces make the solids collect on the wall of the bowl. The conveyorand the bowl rotate in the same direction, but at different speeds, which has the effect of moving the solids towards the conical end of the bowl for removal.
